Senior Specialist - Procurement Sourcing

• Working closely with the corporate’s commercial & technical teams focusing on major bidding opportunities from clients.
• You will be responsible for managing supply chain upstream relationships to secure the most advantageous techno-commercial solutions through competitive tendering, effective negotiations, partners relationship management and cost avoidance strategies.
• The successful candidate must have demonstrated experience in the procurement of key products and services supporting AI growth.

• The main function of the role is to manage the procurement support functions ensuring that the services provided are of a consistently high quality in terms of effectiveness, efficiency and best value and in the provision of a proactive, dynamic and professional service to assist with the delivery of business objectives across the group
• Liaising with stakeholders, you will develop, promote and embed procurement and supply chain management tools and techniques that drive best practice across the group, recognizing and adapting to local variances to ensure that the function is regarded as an enabler not a blocker.
• You will ensure that a proactive, creative and challenging approach to managing organizational expenditure on goods and services is constantly applied, being an ambassador for professional procurement, applying an expansive approach to delivering a holistic view of supply chain management, developing strategic relationships, and forging new ways of working to deliver value for money for the business, minimize risk, protect shareholder value and enhance the Core42 brand.
• The main duties for this role will cover the continuous improvement, innovation, compliance, capability, development, stakeholder engagement, supplier management, and risk mitigation.
• Manage the allocated supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spending
• Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies
• Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects and activities
• Analyse and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure
• Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilising negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods
• Cooperate with stakeholders to guarantee agreement on terms and processes
• Research and anticipate shifts in the negotiating power of suppliers
• Perform cost and scenario analysis and benchmarking
• Discover and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers
• Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
• Building and strengthening relationships with internal and external customers
• Comply with the Group Procurement Policy and report to Procurement Manager for all activities

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT engineering, compute science or a relevant field
• CIPS Accreditation

Minimum Experience:

• Min (8) years relevant experience in the procurement or supply field in IT industry
