Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Cloud Visualization Analyst with expertise in dashboard development and data analytics. This role demands a deep understanding of Azure cloud services, data management platform, and stakeholder management, alongside a strong proficiency in Power BI and its components, including Power Query, Power Pivot, Power View, DAX, and Fabric.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Dashboard Development: Create and maintain impactful dashboards using Power BI, ensuring high-quality visualizations that align with stakeholder needs.
  • Business Requirements Translation: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into effective dashboards and reports, leveraging advanced Power BI functionalities.
  • Data Governance Implementation: Establish and enforce data governance standards, policies, and procedures within Power BI reports and datasets to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Reporting Environment Optimization: Configure and optimize the reporting environment, integrating data sources (both on-premises and cloud) while managing data security protocols.
  • Complex Report Design: Develop sophisticated dashboards and reports in Power BI, incorporating custom calculations, interactive visualizations, and dynamic filters for enhanced user experience.
  • Azure Integration Collaboration: Work closely with the Azure cloud team to seamlessly integrate Power BI with other Azure services, ensuring efficient data flow and processing.
  • Backend Data Architecture Contribution: Assist in building a robust backend data architecture, focusing on database design, data modelling, and ETL processes.
  • Mentorship and Guidance: Provide technical mentorship to junior team members, promoting adherence to best practices and fostering their professional development.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Troubleshoot issues and optimize queries to deliver valuable insights through Power BI dashboards, supporting various business units and customers.
  • Innovation and Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Power BI, including DAX and Microsoft Fabric, and Azure technologies, integrating new practices to drive innovation within the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Power Platform Developer with 5-10 years of experience, demonstrated by a strong portfolio of successful projects in PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Solid understanding of Azure Data Architecture and its components.
  • Certification in Power BI and Azure Cloud technologies will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
