The opportunity
The Manager - Networks Operations is accountable for overseeing and managing the functionality of our 24/7 Network Operations Centre and Cloud Infrastructure to ensure continuous operations, optimal performance, and security.
Core42 is the UAE’s national-scale enabler for cloud and generative AI, combining G42 Group’s expertise across multiple technology disciplines into a single platform for public sector and large enterprise transformations. Team Leadership
• Manage and maintain resources to operate a 24/7 Network Operations Centre.
• Set clear goals and objectives for the team and provide guidance and support to ensure successful execution.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, promoting continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
24x7 Monitoring
• Oversee the 24x7 monitoring of network infrastructure and cloud environments to ensure uptime, performance, and security.
• Implement and maintain monitoring tools and systems to proactively identify and address network issues and potential security threats.
• Develop and refine monitoring procedures and escalation protocols to optimize response times and minimize downtime.
• Lead incident response efforts, including troubleshooting network issues, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and implementing solutions to restore service quickly.
Capacity Management:
• Monitor network performance metrics and conduct regular capacity planning assessments to anticipate and address potential bottlenecks or performance degradation.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to scale network resources and optimize performance based on evolving business needs and usage patterns.
Documentation and Reporting:
• Develop and enhance routine tasks to be performed by Network Operations Centre.
• Create and maintain technical documentation of processes and procedures for network operations.
• Maintain and comply with standard company technical and administrative procedures.
Other
• Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships.
• Coordinate special projects, inventory management and network audits.
